The first thing we do when a client needs a steam room installation is to review the site. One of the major concerns commonly overlooked in steam room installation is the importance of location. Whether installing an outdoor or indoor steam room, there are various factors to consider: wind direction, arc of the sun, traffic and noise as well as privacy.
At the end of the day, your steam room should be your haven and place of rejuvenation; the last thing you need is a steam room that lets in the outside world via noise or lack of privacy. Once we have identified the perfect location and orientation, we will then prepare the base and identify plumbing and power requirements (electrical connections are facilitated by an electrician). Once these items are in order, we will proceed to install your steam room.
Steam Room Construction Time
The amount of time required to build/install your steam room will ultimately depend on the type of steam room. Customized steam room installation times vary depending upon complexity and size. After the design phase a more accurate time-table can be determined. That said, on average, steam rooms take from one to two months to install after receipt of material.
